Background

Tall, blonde, and stunning, Erelthia was a the daughter of a noble who resided in Redridge. The young girl had an eager personality, one that hungered for adventure, danger, and peril. Luckily for her, her sister Ellwynn was a girl of the same nature. A trainee paladin, her and her sister would go out into the cliffs of Redridge and slay gnolls together. They were hailed by the people of Lakeshire, and loved by their parents. Sadly, this serenity wouldn't last. Erelthia loved her sister, but disagreed with her ways. Erelthia started to dabble into the Arcane works, taking great interest in the works of the Dalaran mages. With counselling from her mother, she enlisted into the mages academy, hoping to be picked.

Her natural affinity towards magic intrigued the mages, and she was happily enlisted. She was put under the work of Telretha, a high elf mage whom had worked there for some time. She very quickly became a very talented mage, and stayed in Dalaran for many years to research the ways of the mage. It was around this time that it happened.

Erelthia was sent over to Lordaeron to study with another mage who was working there at the time. Rumours had being going round of plague, and paladins, mages and priests alike were heading up to Lordaeron to investigate. As the people studied, Ellwynn met up with Erelthia one night. They sat round the fire and told eachother of their work, of how Ellwynn had become a Templar, and how she had fought the horde on many an occasion.

The next morning, a scourge battalion ambushed the camp. Ellwynn and Erelthia fought valiantly, but Ellwynn was taken, Erelthia, slain. Nobody knows what happened to Ellwynn when she was taken away, but the next time she appeared in the timeline was when she emerged as a death knight.

Erelthia was 'fortunate' enough to be risen, but not by the Lich King, but by the Banshee Queen Sylvanas. Slowly, Erelthia began to spiral into darkness, her natural affinity to magic changing to a natural affinity for the dark arts. She dabbled into the arts of the warlock, before accepting the title, and learning the ways proper. It is said the real Erelthia died on that day, and most agree.

Involvement

Erelthia can currently be found in either The Undercity, or Silvermoon City, training with a variety of different warlocks. Not many people know her, and she likes to keep it that way, preferring her solitude.

Strategy

Erelthia focuses on using curses and infections to slowly and painfully destroy her foes. If you can find a way to interrupt her casting, you should fair better.
