Kragh, as drawn by Ranali

Kragh Grimtotem[]

Kragh was born in Stonetalon where he had two sisters, an older and a younger. He had trained to be a killer in the Thousand Needles by Arnak Grimtotem and a lot of Grimtotem elders grew to be rather frightened of the progress of his training and the hunger for the knowledge of battle including Magatha and Zarnok Grimtotem during that time he was part of a small five-man team all consisting of Grimtotem elite hunters and were responsible for the deaths of countless Tauren and tribes. Then by will, he trained himself more to become alot stronger; becoming an excellent tracker and gaining a brilliant eye with a ranged weapon. After that he returned home to show his family his skill with weapons, there was an attack and a fight broke out between the Grimtotem and the Whitecloud, Kragh acted on this to show his fellow Grimtotem what he was capable of. Several days after the fighting, he strangely murdered his parents and little sister, his big sister fled from him in fear. The heat of battle and enjoyment of taking another life along with the ecstasy of warfare was all he knew.

What he looks like[]

First Impressions[]

Kragh banner

At first glance he gives the impression of not being a nice person. The two large smoky blue, glowing axes clipped to his waist and black fur add to the image. His fur is longer around his arms, legs and chest. His mane is always let loose and can cover his eyes when he lets it fall in front of them. However, he made braids of his beard and the sides of his head. His fur is jet black and shows no visible signs of recent cutting so it looks like a tattered mess. His eyes are a dark red and shine out when you look at him, but they show no anger, instead giving a cold and empty stare without anger or sorrow. He nearly always wears a mail kilt which covers his lower body completely and rests on his hooves. The kilt is black and blue with forks of lightning patterns all over it. He also has an exposed chest sometimes, from time to time it is covered with bandages that are blood-soaked (if this is his blood or not, we will never know for sure) but sometimes without the bandages his chest is fully exposed then and you can get the impression that he is stronger physically then most by his muscles on his chest. His hands are lighter then the rest of his body - this is because his use of lightning burned away the fur there.

Main equipment and other things[]

Armour[]

The armour Kragh wears is chain, scale and in some areas even plated but also with some fur like on the helmet he wears is of a black furred and blue eyed wolf, which covers his face, does not offer much protection since Kragh has more tribal then protective equipment so the new armour does not offer much in a line of defence. The gloves for instance are fingerless and small, but they have a strange misty blue crystal at the back of the hand which lightning sparks inside, his shoulders are made of metal with runes engraved into it, also the top of the shoulders are covered in crystal which is much like that on his gloves. And the area of arm around the elbow are exposed showing his black fur. His chest has a chain plated and fur-lined breastplate covering it and this protects his body all over. His kilt is black with dark blue lightning symbols enmeshed into it, his belt his darker with guilded wire threaded into the surface, and is covered with several pouches around the back, one with his knives in, another with gold in. At the back it is covered by his cloak which is black but also it has diffirent shades of blue, dark and light, Woven into it the platinum mesh and this cloak goes down to his hooves.

Weaponry[]

  • Crystalised Lightning Blades

The two swords he has which he wears in a cross formation over his back using a bracket on his cloak, they have several tribal symbols on them and have light blue lightning forking energetically along them. The swords are made of an extremely conductive metal but are also seem lightweight, so probably not elementium, allowing Kragh to channel lightning down them in moments to his enemy which would travel to their weapon and through their own body upon a single parry or a successful hit. The best tactic would be to wear leather gloves or have an insulated hilt on your weapon, or try keep him at range.

  • Sidearm belt-blade

Also in the Tauren's personal armour is what would appear at first glance is a bladed metal block with a handle. He places it in a scabbard he keeps under his cloak against the back of his waist above his tail. It is a secondary weapon, it has a discrete clip, hinge and lock so Kragh may draw the discreet blade at times of emergency and uses the weapon in his offhand for some reason, possibly keeping the runes on his arm free.

  • Throwing axe

Kragh uses an axe at times to incapacitate a fleeing target other times he uses the axe as a utility hatchet but the weapon is serated which shows it's obviously for killing or cutting meat.

  • Right Arm Runes

On Kragh's right arm are runes burned into his skin under the fur, possibly not visible at first glance unless one does seem to notice the slight patterning in the black fur. The Runes allow Kragh to channel around stored air spirit power inside them using it for various methods, depending ho

w angry the Tauren is depends on how much energy he can 'force' out of the arm. Crafting blades, blasting targets, summoning his mount to him. Channelling that energy over his swords are just a few things that can be done with the diverse power.

Odd and Ends[]

  • yes Signet Device

Has the solid gold Signet of the Thousand Eyes clipped to a sort of a brooch around his ear, somewhat like an earpiece or a modern day hand's free headset.

  • Dragontooth Charm

Around his neck is a chain of some sort made from rather basic metal. But on the chain is a draconic fang.

  • Unspecial Parchment-case

Can be sometimes seen with a scrollcase, this holds various designs for some quickly sketched weapons or sometimes rune rubbings.

His constant company[]

  • Skumring

This is Kragh's grey wolf, when he calls for the mount it always arrives with haste and when in pursuit can put even some of the fastest war mounts to shame. Kragh shares a mental link with the wolf since he chose it after he lost his Kodo in Grizzly Hills to a worgen ambush. Kragh survived the attack but his Kodo died in the fight. After that he found a lone wolf with no pack, which attacked him, but Kragh subdued and tamed the animal.

  • Zhor'Rath (Dead)

This "Netherdrake" has a bad history, some say he isn't even a netherdrake at all and that he is the

Hand drawn Zhor

Hand drawn pic of Zhor's wing and head

corpse of a black drake infused with a demonic soul. What is clear though is that this mount is closely tied to the black shard of a crystal that Kragh always holds with him. Also Kragh doesn't seem to respect this drake but always looks down on it with disgust and constantly insults it with numerous curses.

  • Strazadormy (Back with her kind)

The Bronze drake that Kragh has. He calls it his secondary mount and it always wants to go new places for it is only a young bronze drake. She talks a lot and not many people get bored in her company, others say that "she talks far to much" but as soon as she sees another male bronze drake she always tries to flirt with it.

  • Krystall (Back home)

This snowy white drake Kragh found in the Stormpeaks, she is kind natured female drake who has nothing to lose and ferries Kragh around Northrend mainly, talking to her. She has a soft and elder voice and helps most people who would ask her a question, referring to them as 'Young one' most of the time.

  • "Sparks"

This little black whelp Kragh found while exploring the Badlands when he stumbled upon a small egg all by itself, so he collected it and took it to his home where the egg later

hatched and upon looking at Kragh the whelp thinks that the Tauren is it's Mother... Cute. Kragh later found it was refused by it's parent drake and left to die in the dirt. Korsarth fixed up the drake with several machanical parts like a set of wings and a heart, he also gave it armour plating in the process.

  • Zephyrius

With the new added aditions of the runes upo Kragh's right arm, he can call out a drake from the Skywall which heeds Kragh's will like a deeply revered elemental would, honouring Kragh strangely like a master, He uses the drake to fly from time to time, calling it from it's home only when needed.

Backstory (After Creation)[]

After the Grimtotem[]

He left the Grimtotem because he ran from them after waking up in a pool of his family's blood and all signs of the one who spilled it was him. He found an Orc Shaman named Korsarth who trained him some small Elemental techniques like using his rage to focus his weapons into the target. Kragh did this and Korsarth described it as "His rage cuts through the enemy like a hot knife through butter." Kragh then was joined into the Horde with Korsarth as a leader, along with an Blood Elf named Jaxom and a Troll who's name was lost with his death. They worked as a kill squad that was based around Kalimdor in secret for Orgrimmar, that made it's home where it walked, hardly ever setting foot in a capital city. Then the time came that the team deserved a well-earned rest. Which they spent in the Eastern Kingdoms, but first they were to escort an arms shipment through the plaugelands, where the Troll who was with the squad, fell to the Scourge as he allowed Korsarth to escape from death and therefore, giving his life for his comrade and Captain.

A Holiday of Sorts[]

After that, the remaining three went to Silvermoon. Where they split from each others company for a week or so. In this time, Kragh's dark and unrelenting heart was shattered, when he fell in love with a female Tauren named Chanah Wolfsbane, who he saved from a bunch of Blood Knights that didn't like it when she badmouthed one of them. He also met several others there, another Female Tauren that was wise and he respected her, her name was Sage Grimtotem. In time, Kragh's duties became less and less and he became more free, and began to spend more and more time around Chanah, after Jaxom and Korsarth were called away, Jaxom to Outland who never returned or never even heard of after he left. And Korsarth, called off to Northrend to join with the Ogrim's Hammer demolition's team, becoming it's leader. Kragh for two reasons joined The Opened Eyes, he felt he was wanted there and that he felt like a Tauren, still remembering the events of his family and also to be with Chanah.

The Opened Eyes[]

Kragh didn't know much of the Eyes' past and didn't know much of Verdauga Whitecloud, their old leader, apart from what Chanah had told him. Kragh put his military training to their advantages, in the end he became the guilds Blademaster and Sub-Leader in Sage's absence, troughout all this he from time to time trained and protected Chanah, after meeting some of Chanah's freinds like Sothrana and Maugrim, Sothrana talked to him when he sought her out from time to time, but Maugrim disapproved of his company and always looked down on him, Kragh didn't care about the treatment and didn't mind being hated by him for he had other things to worry about. Throughout all this, even though Kragh loved Chanah she only saw him as a freind. In the time Kragh was training Chanah in Lordarean, very close to the plaugelands. He woke to sounds in his head, and a strange pull of mystery that seemed to resonate through the Plaugelands and pull him east. It was at Corin's Crossing where he met the one that drew him there, with the sounds of her blade crashing against the undead that infested the place. Another Female Tauren, a black-pelt but no Grimtotem or Darkcloud. It was there that he met Taika, Chanah's now undead sister Myrna Wolfsbane. Shortly after Kragh met Taika, they became close and Taika took great notice in Kragh's style of fighting, wanting to learn from him and seeking power. Kragh took her in not knowing who she really was, trained her and they became to draw close, yet Kragh couldn't let Chanah out of his heart, he felt Taika and him were connected because they were both monsters in each others eyes and it made them both feel wanted. In the end, they became mates, although Taika was a Death Knight and could not give Kragh a child. Taika was brought into the Eyes, but slowly was accepted by everyone, they knew she wasn't there to fight them, she was there to fight what could make her stronger. When Kragh left the Eyes he left it with Taika and joined Agrammar.

Agrammar[]

Shortly after joining Agrammar with Myrna at his side, Myrna was lost in battle while in Outland. Kragh was overcome with grief at the news but he still continued to fight and his rage from the situation earned him a very quick spot among Agrabodak's Blood Guard. Although he is calm about it now he wished to leave that part of the past behind and continue the fight. Training Chanah more and more until the point where she now could match him in a fair fight, he had grown closer to her then more then ever and it was hard to seperate the two's company as they always fought together and have adapted the way they fight from each other around that time. Some of Kragh's shamanism came back to him, but non for healing purposes and all for offensive or defensive. It was clear that in his eyes he looks at the grunts as equals to himself and puts on a smile, but alot of people have noticed that Kragh was smiling a lot more around that time as if his whole life was going back up hill and no one seemed to have a clue to the reason, this making Kragh are more careful fighter, but still reckless non the less and he still stayed on top of the kill-count with his new friends and brothers inside Agrammar.

The New Path[]

Later Kragh had resorted to following a new path, the use of lightning that made him quite an admirable foe to fight with. He clashed this use of lightning with his own style of melee combat, which is slightly like berserking but Kragh says: "The survival rate for mine is a lot higher." He had learned some other shamanistic techniques as well like Water

Kragh Raining

The Lightning Blades

Walking and transforming into a Wolf for several minutes. But he had a dissagreement with the leadership in Agrammar after himself and Chanah were almost killed. Leaving Agrammar, he still stayed around (although not under the banner) to watch over and protect Chanah should the fighting force fall into trouble, he did this because he never hated the Order and just prayed for his and Chanah's safety since he became her mate. Then if you found Kragh, Chanah woulden't be that far away. Which this eventually caused him to rejoin Agrammar briefly so he was closer to Chanah in and out of the battlefield but he left shortly after because to him it just didn't feel right.

The Great Gift[]

It was clear that Kragh was newly changed. His warmongerish old self gone and replaced with a calm level headed attitude, even towards his enemies where he would cheerfully gloat over their misfortune for having to fight him. But he seemed to be hiding a secret, it was clear there is a secret yet he never tells anyone what it is. Just that he smiles and was yet closer to Chanah more then ever, his study on his lightning almost reaching full effect, but he never came closer to merging his swords. He was also been seen running around with a charter, but from time to time he spoke to some members of The Opened Eyes, namely Braan Firetotem. But shortly gave up and began to work more in Northrend and trying to 'Carve' a better future for his child that Chanah carried.

The Shatterfang Clan[]

Once Chanah left Agrammar Kragh leaped to the occation of joining The Shatterfang Clan to be with her. It helped their relationship and tied them closer. Kragh quickly earned respect with his new family and Clan, though some disliked his attitude toward the code of Honor and that he thinks that them that would die for the honourable livelihood foolish. Kragh then resumed work in Kalimdor to be closer to Chanah after the Lich King's defeat. Working alongside Ruby and Grimbold from time to time in Northrend to clear up what was left of the Scourge. Sadly, Chanah and Kragh were being slowly pulled apart by the damage done by previous tests and separations and they began to argue from time to time, until Kragh put fear into Chanah's heart with his own worrying and Chanah left him after they had a talk.

The Cold 'Fortune'[]

Shortly after the separation, Kragh chased Chanah around pleading with her to return to his side, saying he would change for her. But Chanah would say no, Kragh grew angry with himself for what he had done, and slowly Kragh succumbed to a colder soul, hardly showing emotions, his level-headed attitude slipping away and his rage becoming a lot more deadly on the battlefield and also becoming more reckless. He worked with Ruby and Maugrim and returned to Northrend to find a way to quench his rage for what he had done to Chanah. He appeared in Thunder Bluff from time to time, those who spoke to him met a cold and bitter attitude along with an empty and uncaring gaze that threatened them with the edge of a blade and a clear quick end. Kragh eventually sent letters to Chanah telling her he was alright.

From Beserker to Shaman[]

One night Kragh returned to Chanah after he had trained in Northrend, working closely with the elements there, helping them recover from the damage the Lich King had done there. He is now a Shaman wielding two single handed axes and holding on to his words about blunt weapons like staves and maces being useless. His mental state didn't recover much though and he still grieves over the loss of his love and his family since Chanah gave birth to his calf named Anouk. Still his coldness in his attitude is bitter, hardly showing a smile when he speaks but also never really getting angry, he wanders from place to place and talks with an uncaring sway which has resulted in him receiving several long, cold and sleepless nights. But Kragh has mastered several techniques like the ability to turn into a wolf at will, to be able to summon astral wolves, look over mass distances in seconds and on an offensive state his lightning and fire abilities are somewhat close to frightening since his anger and rage are channelled into these elements.

The Bad Streak[]

After a month of mental agony, Kragh began to sink into depression and drunk from time to time, lost sleep and sometimes walked around the Bluff's aimlessly, those who spoke to him didn't seem to get past the wall of bitter anger that was controlling him. He settled his troubles with Chanah and saw her as his only friend, being able to see his son gave him some hope but not a lot of it because he still wanted his family Kragh got into more fights and arguments. Kragh did rejoin The Eyes of Kalimdor, previously The Opened Eyes, he wanted to see what he could do to help them, it made him smile to see that they were recovering from what had happened, but was eventually asked to leave by Braan Firetotem, The Eyes' head of Shamans and Spirit Guide because of Kragh's views and issues of anger, although Kragh did want to apologise for his words, he couldn't bring himself to do it shrouded in his anger. A night after that one, something changed Kragh, just when he thought everything was leaving him, someone returned, This was Sage Grimtotem, a former leader of the Eyes. Kragh and Sage sat by a cliff side that evening and caught up on the past, several others arrived that night to welcoming Sage home. Some of the Eyes like Sharix and Yengo, Burom came also and even Edanna eventually turned up.

Shift Happens[]

Now seeking some time away from all of the things that were happening around him, he went to Northrend to 'mop up' both the remaining Scourge and the Alliance. It was then he saw Inaka, a female Tauren Death Knight. The pair had worked together before while Kragh was training in Northrend, doing the odd job here and there. During some of the

traveling and fighting Kragh and Inaka go into an argument which made Kragh eventually take a swing at Inaka, she escaped the male's attacks and left Kragh to his guilt of the sudden situation. Eventually sometime after Kragh went looking for Inaka and found her sitting by a fire, tending to her wounds of some fights, including the one Kragh gave her. The Female seemed to forgive Kragh for what he had done, but then offered to give Kragh a 'drink of water' from a flask. Kragh accepted the drink and was knocked out cold immediately. When Kragh awoke the next morning he didn't believe what he saw at first, he even screamed at it when he realised it was real. His body had changed through the night and he was now a female.

Saved by The Loas![]

Kragh found it hard to adapt into his new life, he hid at first but then came to show his face in civilization, no one noticed him at first because all the had remained the same about him were his eyes and the colour of his fur coat. However, he did tell Chanah when he saw her, and she agreed to help him while laughing. She went

to talk to a friend of hers and Kragh's named Mohoji. He also agreed to help while laughing about the male's situation, when addressing Kragh they would always put expression into the word "Lady" or "Missy". Mohoji eventually mentioned that Kragh had to undergo a kind of ritual that Trolls would be doing for him, he didn't like the idea at first and as Mohoji talked about it more and more and the amount of things that have and can go wrong in the past, he hated the idea but wanted to carry it out anyway. He gathered the list of things that Mohoji asked him too and then they went to see a Troll Witchdoctor named Yinzo who lived in a Tree. Kragh at this point wanted to run away when he found he was putting his life in a clearly insane Troll's hands. But after several flashes of lightning, damning loas, cauldrons and Mohoji getting smacked over the head with a stick. Kragh became his normal self again and no longer had to wear the dresses Chanah was telling him to wear.

The Half-powered Prince[]

At the time of the elemental invasion Kragh awoke one night, the winds rushed south seemingly screaming and calling. And so Kragh went with them. He headed into Silithus and found the source. The air being pulled into the region and being torn apart by a savage elemental prince of Air who was trying to make his way in Azeroth from the Skywall. Sarasun was the Elemental's name. It was trying to claw it's way from the portal and Kragh took himself to the task of stopping this when he saw it. Thankfully the Elemental was too occupied with trying to get from the portal but it was still a hard fight for Kragh and still remains as one of the hardest foes he has faced. But shattering the prince's bracers seemed to take away it's anchor and pull it back into the Skywall. However, the bracer fractured leaving a shard in the sand. Kragh thought of taking it to sage so she could dispose of it, as he reached for it the small fragment of power in the shard transferred itself to the Tauren's right arm, scarring it heavily with a lightning burn in a runic sort of pattern.

The Shattering[]

Kragh and the Shattering

Surveying the damage

After the invasion, the Earthquakes stopped for a time. Kragh was allowing his arm to heal upon the cliffs mountain ridge dividing Mulgore and the Barrens when the Land gave an almighty crash and rumble. Kragh stood in awe as he looked at the land. The earth falling in upon itself as it split and a molten furnace welled up from between it. The chasm swallowing the barren soil and the creatures that ran about in horror. Then The Destroyer himself flying past breathing out his blazing breath upon the poor creatures he flew over. Of course Kragh didn't know who this figure was but he saw it held such power that it couldn't be good for Azeroth at all.

Blame my Fur...[]

In the following chaos during the Shattering, Cairne Bloodhoof's death from both poison and the rage of Hellscream. Magatha Grimtotem called upon the Grimtotem and had them attack Thunderbluff so she could take the Tauren city over. And although she failed to do so the Grimtotem were banished from the Bluffs and all their Horde ties were severed. Becoming enemies of the Horde in the process. There was several Grimtotem who did not follow Magatha's tribe at the time, they also made their homes at the Bluffs and were then removed from the Bluffs, banished because they still had the tribe name, and their fur was that of a Grimtotem's. Kragh was included in this number and the Male during his banishment moved around constantly, avoiding contact with any Horde or Alliance conflict, staying out of the way in case he is seen as the enemy and attacked. Any Horde soldier that did attack him though is fair game in his eyes and he would strike back at the attacker or attackers. He himself was trying to figure out and find the way to clear his and other Grimtotem's names.

Flame on the Mountain![]

After his name had been cleared considering an incident in the now flooded Thousand needles, and the newly reconstructed Twilight Hammer. Kragh returned to the Bluffs with the Eyes. The Eyes were called to arm as an assembly to aid the Archdruid Hamuul Runetotem on Mount Hyjal against the Minions of Ragnaros. Kragh led the charge and main military effort for the Eyes, Mostly in the form of combat training at first which eventually led to most of the 'braver' faces among the Eyes slaying a larger Pyrelord in the Molten Front itself. After the events of the Firelands Invasion, Kragh turned his attention to the larger Dragon he saw at the beggining the Cataclysm

WoWScrnShot 041912 133248

A wild roaring Kragh

and thus began Kragh's lust for Black Dragon's blood along his blades which he recreated from their old bulkier frame into amore slender and streamlined weapon, using The new powers of the runes on his arm to make an enchanted quartz and Mithril alloy. Inscribing the weapons with more runes like the ones on his arm.

Screams in the Sky.[]

After a while Kragh met Ranali Wildmane. The friendship blossomed into a relationship which Kragh was happy and thankful for, inheritting Ranali's adolescent child as his own also, Felinne. But Kragh worried too much about the sucurity of it, with Deathwing on the rampage. When he had heard about the wyrmrest attack the Tauren grinned. Finally The dragon could be hunted and so the Eyes set out for Wyrmrest in Northrend. Kragh was tested once again more then a few times on the journey, eventually loosing both his weapons and Sage in the Fjord when a bridge collapsed into the sea. Somehow by the Earthmother's kind spirit Sage, Throk and Kragh's weapons washed up on the shores of Grizzly Hills. Kragh rearmed once again set out with the Eyes to help with the Wyrmrest war effort.

Quotes[]

Key things Kragh has said in his past, either to himself or others.

  • "I am the fist of what I fight for, you do not control me. I will sheild that what I think I should sheild, you do not own me." - Words to Sage Grimtotem
  • "Fear isn't a weakness, it's a strength many fear in itself, it makes us do things, sometimes regrettable I know. Afterall, fear is what has shaped me into, this. And it makes me smile, for I embraced that which I was becoming. Many Tauren here will bake bread, some will write poems and stories. I'm a hunter, it's what I was raised for, what I was taught to do, the target does not matter, for when it is a target, be it a Centaur, a Troll. Or indeed a Dragon, it is prey, and I shall take to the hunt with great belonging. If I feared myself still, i'd still be running." - Spoken to a scared Ebon Knight who was afraid of their own future.
  • "You ask me why I am like I am? Well, i'll tell you why. You know honor makes heroes, right? Well the definition of a hero is a deadman... I have a family that needs me and I will live on for them even if I am no hero in their eyes, I want to live for my family and not for honor which has gotten more people killed then it has saved. Why throw your life away so you can be praised? Do you not have children of your own? Think of them, would they rather grow up with a father or a mother? Or do you think they would prefer life without one, one that they can see maybe carved in stone... But a stone will never have love. So when you tell me I have no honor, maybe next time you will know why I prefer to kill my enemy in a way they cannot escape and even survive... Clear?" - Told to someone who called Kragh dishonorable.
  • "I Guess the worlds gone insane... I may have to go insane with it... Unless it is me who is insane already, and the world that is truely sane? Nah... I'll keep things the way they are..." Something Kragh said to himself when he heard about a Male Tauren and a Female Blood Elf in a loving relationship.

Facts about Kragh[]

Things you may or may not have wanted to know about him.

  • Considers himself to be quite 'badass'.
  • Has blood red eyes, and jet black fur which is darker then most.
  • Dispite leaving the Grimtotem clan themselves, Kragh actually still takes knowledge from what they taught him. He doesn't see it as him still having links with them afterall he lives by the "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger." rule.
  • Doesn't eat rubbish food, he eats it fresh and genrally only eats meat which he cooks himself. Unless it's cake! He likes fresh cake!
  • Isn't to keen on using hammers or other blunt weaponry an axe he will live with and can use it with alot of promise but his most prefered weapon is a sword so he can cut through the wind and flesh alike.
  • 'Kragh' Isn't Kragh's actuall name. It's a name he used to escape from his past that Korsarth Ironfist gave to him in order to hide from the Grimtotem, it stuck with him and he then used the name as an actuall name.
  • Thinks honor is a code just to make people feel good about what they are doing, even if it is suicide. And calls people idiots who would rather give their life up for it.
  • Always sees a big picture and how even the best and most stable of things can go wrong in moments.
  • Has a dislike for most male Trolls.
