Blood Knight, and head of House Keiju, leaving him in work almost reaching him to the tips of his fleshy ears. Has been a professional jewelcrafter, but due to the dwindling lack of interest after the Third War it was no longer a line of work he could live on with nearly the same margins as before, and it now only remains with him as a stress-relief and hobby.
Sangerus Keiju. Oldest brother and supposed to be in charge of House Keiju, but due to long absence those duties have fallen on Sokea out of necessity.
The other pure-bloods of the Keiju family either perished in the Scourge, or when they follow Kael'thas through the portal to the Outlands. They have not been heard from, and no solid confirmation of their deaths or whereabouts have been given, but it can be assumed that they either died in Kael'thas' service, or as defects trying to join The Scryers.
Sokea was raised in the western and now ruined parts of Silvermoon as a pure-blood child of the family Keiju - core of the aristocratic House Keiju. He was brought up in the image of his father through many years of schooling with different private teachers, and of course his father Sota himself, learning all possible different subjects ranging from maths to leadership to economic and politics to fencing and jewelry smithing. All with the purpose of making him ready to take over the House where the other sons in the family eventually had chosen other ways.
To further develop his understanding of the world, the role of the quel'dorei in it, and of course to keep the House's business blooming he was sent to Stormwind and to some extent Lordaeron to study their methods of trade, their habits amd culture, and to get new contracts for import and export. Even though the Stormwind trade wasn't ever a very important part of the family wealth it was a tradtion of his father in how to educate his sons while putting them to some use.
As Sokea grew older and more widely traveled, so did (to his father's dislike) his apetite for the enjoyments in which most quel'dorei were expected to partake but that no one spoke about: the orgies. He had a seemingly endless taste for good food and exotic wine, fine music, elegant magical displays, hazing bloodthistle, and selacious women. Further to his father's dislike he had success enough in his business to personally afford attending to almost any of those feasts of decadence he wished.
Becoming an increasingly talented jewelcrafter after many decades of practicing his profession, both in the physical manipulation of metals and gems and limited magical properties, he slowly started to seek new challenges to overcome.
The name Sokea Keiju means "Blind Fairy" in Finnish. It was meant to be "Fairly Blind", but the online translator made it "Fairy Blind". I swapped the words around since it made more sense and sounded better. The whole deal with "Fairly Blind" is a sarcastic mockery of most human paladins I've played with and them being "blinded by The Light" in their reasoning and thinking.
