History[]
After Thrall issued the order to go to war in Northrend everyone went. They keep needing reinforcements so people keep going. Unfortunatly this means that Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms are left generaly unprotected from more basic threats, but threats all the same. Thrall ((well, not Thrall in person but someone under him)) sent out a request for a group of loyal horde associates to deal with these threats.
Autumnhoof, a loyal hunter of the Horde, hearing of the request, decided to take it on himself to organise this group. He gathered together a group including Winoa Thunderstar, his deputy, and called it Illuminae Nocti. They went on like this for a time, going round Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms and dealing with any group that got too big.
Autumnhoof, by then, was a powerful and experienced hunter and was called upon to go to Northrend and fight. He went but still controlled when and where Illuminae Nocti went. After a time he stopped contacting the Thunderstar and, as more of them were called to Northrend, the group drifted apart.
Present[]
Lately, Thunderstar has been contacted by 'the person who told them to organise this group' and was ordered, as deputy, to take control and start doing their job again. To Thunderstar this came as a slight shock as she had never thought about a time when she would have to take control. But all the same she started recruiting under the new name of The Dawn Guard.

The Dawn Guard suffered some unfortunate drawbacks, but now I, Sarbrin Bloodlegion, am trying to bring it back. wish me luck, thanks.

ok, our names aren't very creative, we are trying to come up with better ones as you read this...
Comander - The Guild Leader
Deputy - advises the guild leader, takes command when leader is not there... Your average deputy
Officer - people chosen by the leader and deputies for good behaviour, coming online regularly, good role play, etc. Your average officer.
Advisor- A member of the officer ranks who is good with strategic decisions but has not been in the guild long
Mage - Any of the following classes; Mage, Priest, Warlock or Paladins speced for healing.
Ranger - Any of the following classes; Hunter, Druid or Shaman.
Blade - Any of the following classes; Warrior, Death Knight, Rogue or Paladins speced for tanking or dps.
The three ranks (Mage, Ranger and Blade) are all of equall status, they all have the same previliges, all have the same downsides. They are purely there so that I (Thunderstar) can tell one class from the other and they also have a little bit to do with Rp.
Acolyte of Dawn - Is a still relatively new member that has not participated in the guild a large amount.
Recruit- A new member to the guild. New members will be promoted when we (leader/deputy) think they are ready to be, or in their first meeting.

Illuminae Nocti means 'The Enlightenment in the Darkness' and since the dawn is the first light after the night, well, you have the Dawn Guard.
When we (Autumnhoof and Thunderstar) created Illuminae Nocti we didn't have anything in mind for the Rp or anything at all. seriously! nothing! After a while Autumnhoof stopped comming online and I decided to make the new guild The Dawn Guard
